Caroline is as good as a pilates teacher gets. I would say she is the best in the world, but I haven’t tried them all yet. What I do know is that she is better than any I have been to in London. And I often drop into London pilates classes if I need one up there. I find these teachers disappointing as they don’t adjust or even point out the essential things that I know from Caroline’s classes are really important. She is very strict and very funny. I used to think pilates was a bit boring but it is far from that at Caroline’s. Oh, and my back, which was twinging from a bulging disc, and my hips that were groaning from I don’t know what, are really good now. Which is a huge relief. She is excellent, brilliant, amazing. I wish we could clone Caroline so that lots more people could have her as their pilates teacher
I am a highly qualified Pilates instructor, and have taught for the past 25 years, between London and the South Downs.
My clients have included performers, athletes and other instructors. Additionally, I teach children and teenagers. All experience both physical and psychological benefit my clients. I deliver focused but fun (the comedy is free!) classes, to help you become the best you can be.
While sailing with Odyssey, I will be offering:
- Morning Pilates class – focussing on stretching and awakening the body including a twenty minute breath work, to start the day. This could be on the boat, or on the beach depending on where we are!
- Later in the day there will be another opportunity for a second hour of pilates (or they could be broken into two half hours)
- At the end of the day there will be a relaxing meditation and breath work for half hour.
Additionally, during the day I will offer those who wish a 30 or 60 minute 1:1 if you would like to deepen your understanding and improve technique… or just like 1:1 attention.
